Programs and Panels

Once again this year, the community is preparing a wide range of programs and panels to ensure everyone heads home from Furdance Budapest with new experiences. As with other furry conventions, most of the programming is brought to you by fellow community members on a voluntary basis.

If you have a great idea or would like to host a presentation, roundtable discussion, or workshop, check out the host guide and contact us!

Returning Programs

This year, many exciting experiences await you with our traditional programs, which have been the pillars of our event for several years:

Art Show

The exhibition is an essential part of any furry convention, as art is one of the fundamental pillars of the furry subculture, encompassing many styles and forms. Whether traditional or digital drawing, painting, sculpture, or photography, the exhibition offers everyone the chance to showcase their best works. Go to the Art Show Exhibitor Guide page!

Art Show Auction Charity program

Selected pieces from the Art Show – as marked by the creators – will be put up for auction. Each artist can decide in advance what percentage of the sale price to donate to charity, so bidders not only acquire unique artwork but also support a good cause.

Furdance Cinema

Furdance Cinema takes place on Saturday, at the same time as the Fursuit Walk, and on Sunday morning, offering an alternative for those seeking a more relaxed experience. The screening will feature the original soundtrack with Hungarian subtitles.

For legal reasons, the title of the film can only be revealed on Friday, the first day of the event, when the promotional period specified in the contract with the distributor officially begins. Therefore, it’s worth keeping an eye on the on-site program schedule!

Fursuit Activity Charity program

During the Fursuit Activity, fursuiters on stage act out various charades, and the audience tries to guess them.

This program is not just about fun; it also supports a good cause. For every correctly guessed puzzle, the host adds money to the charity collection box. The more solutions, the larger the donation.

The program will be held in English, but solving the puzzles does not require language proficiency.
