This year, our traditional programs— which have been the backbone of the event for years— return once again to bring you exciting experiences!

Art Show

An Art Show is an essential part of any Furry convention, as art is one of the main pillars of Furry subculture. Whether traditional or digital drawings, painting, sculpture or even photography, the Art Show offers everyone the opportunity to showcase their best work. Jump to the Art Show Exhibitor Guide page!

Art Show Auction Charity Event

Among the works exhibited in the Art Show, the works determined by the artists will be auctioned. Each artist can specify in advance what percentage of the sale price they wish to donate to charity. In this way, bidders can not only purchase works of art, but also support a good cause.

The program will be held simultaneously in English and Hungarian.

Dead Dog Party

The event is officially over and we've said our goodbyes at the closing ceremony – but if you've got any energy left, here's your chance for one last party!

Furdance

Furdance Budapest is the namesake and the biggest party! On Friday and Saturday we await you with a total of 12 hours of music and an electrifying atmosphere. Whether in a fursuit or not — come and dance with us until dawn!

Fursuit Activity Charity Event

In Fursuit Activity, fursuiters take the stage to act out various prompts – and it’s up to the audience to guess them! In this game, the spectators are just as important as the performers. This program supports charitable fundraising efforts. Jump to the detailed program description!

The game is conducted in English, but the prompts are designed to be understandable in both English and Hungarian.

Fursuit Photoshoot

Would you like a personal souvenir? Then this is your chance! At certain times you can visit the fursuit photo shoot, where the event’s media team will take a photo of you in front of this year’s themed backdrop.

Fursuit Dance Contest

The dance competition of Furdance Budapest has been one of the most popular programs of the event for years! If you love dancing and want to show off your skills, this is your chance to shine on stage! Jump to the detailed program description!

Fursuit Walk

The Fursuit Walk is traditionally an integral part of the events organised by Furdance Budapest, where participants, including fursuiters or furry fans without fursuits, meet up and stroll through the city together.

Fursuiter 101

Learn the basics of fursuiting, including how to bring your character to life! In short, everything you need to know about fursuiting but were afraid to ask. Whether you have a fursuit or not, if you're just discovering this vibrant community, this is the perfect place for you!

The program will be held simultaneously in English and Hungarian.

Icebreaker

Are you new to the community? Have you arrived alone or do you just want to meet new people? Then the Icebreaker program is just right for you! This is an informal, relaxed event designed to help you take the first step that many people find difficult: making new connections.

There are no rules, no expectations — just a friendly environment where you can chat, laugh and make new friends. The hosts offer various games, activities or simply good topics to stimulate conversation.

The program takes place simultaneously in English and Hungarian, at two different locations and with two different hosts.

Karaoke Night

The music library features only international, English-language hits, along with some tracks from German, French, and Spanish artists. If you'd like a regional hit in your native language, please contact the organizers before the event. Please request local hits only if you truly intend to perform them, as their quality may be lower and certain features may not be available.

Console and Retro Games

Get the party going with rhythm games like Just Dance or Guitar Hero, enjoy a bit of nostalgia with classics from the NES era or try out iconic titles on a retro PC from the 90s. It's always worth stopping by — you never know what new (or old) surprises await!

Quiz Show Charity Event

This is a question and answer based game show that combines elements from some of the most popular quiz formats. The points you collect not only increase your own rewards, but also contribute to Furdance Budapest’s charity initiative. Jump to the detailed program description!

Meet the Charity Foundation Changes Expected Charity Event

Additional Programs

These programs are brought to life by the creative ideas and initiatives of the hosts. As they aren't necessarily repeated every year, they offer the opportunity to try out different things. If you like them, they might come back in the future!

Furdance Cinema Changes Expected

The Furdance Cinema takes place at the same time as the Fursuit Walk and offers an alternative for those looking for a less active activity. The movie will be shown in its original soundtrack with Hungarian subtitles. For legal reasons, the movie title will not be announced until a certain time when the promotional period specified in the contract officially begins. So keep an eye on our updates!

Impossible Tales

Once upon a time, Little Red Riding Hood crossed the field and entered the forest; who should she meet on the way? The Big Bad Wolf, the Fairy Godmother, or perhaps Captain Jack Sparrow?

In this program, the Fursuiters rely on their improvisational skills to perform stories whose plot is determined by the audience's choices. Get ready for an impossible fairy tale like you've never seen before!
