Changes to registration: What is the Fursuit Registry?
2025.01.28 23:11 CET

The fursuit registry is an online registration system that allows participants to pre-register the fursuits they want to bring to the event. This system has already proven its worth at many similar events, and now it’s time to introduce it our way.
Why is the Fursuit Registry important?
The registry helps to plan the number and type of fursuits expected in the lounge. This allows us to make better use of the space and ensure that everyone can use the Fursuit Lounge as comfortably and safely as possible.
How do I add my fursuit to the registry?
After you have completed your registration, you will find the Fursuit Register section in your profile under the "Account Details" tab. Click on the "Add new fursuit" button and enter the required information:
Character name: The name of the character your fursuit represents. If you have several fursuits of the same character, add a marker to the name, e.g. "New" or "#2".
Type: Choose the type of your fursuit from the following categories. If none of the categories fits perfectly, choose the one that comes closest. Individual accessories such as paws, tails or foot paws do not count as separate fursuits and cannot be registered separately.
Fullsuit: A full body fursuit.
Partial/Full Partial: Includes the head, paws, footpaws, arm sleeves, and leg covers. Usually worn with short-sleeved shirts and/or shorts.
Head Only.
Additional information: Optionally indicate if your fursuit has accessories that require additional space, or provide other important details about it.
Upload photo: Upload a clear, sharp front-facing photo of your fursuit’s head. This picture will help identify your fursuit and confirm that you are bringing it to the event.
What if you don’t own a fursuit, but someone lends you theirs?
If you will be the only user of the fursuit during the event, ask the owner to register it under your account. In this case, you are responsible for the fursuit during the event.
If you only wear it occasionally and cannot register it under your account, you can accompany the owner to the lounge. As a registered fursuiter, the owner may bring a helper.
Important: Each fursuit is bound to the person listed in the register. If someone behaves inappropriately while wearing a borrowed fursuit and their identity cannot be determined, the responsibility lies with the person who registered the fursuit.
