Quiz Show

Play, win and support a good cause!

This is a question and answer based game show that combines elements from some of the most popular quiz formats. The points you collect not only increase your own rewards, but also contribute to Furdance Budapest’s charity initiative.

The game will take place on the main stage in English, while there will be a separate session in Hungarian on the small stage at a different time.

How can you play?

Prior registration is not required. At the host's request, anyone from the audience can participate voluntarily, but only up to three participants can take part in each round. They compete against each other in a fast-paced buzzer round to qualify for the main game: Whoever presses the button first gets to answer. A correct answer earns points, while an incorrect one allows the next fastest contestant to try. The first person to achieve the required number of points advances to the main game.

In the main game, the selected candidate must answer five questions, the topics of which were chosen by the unsuccessful participants in the buzzer round. The candidate has a total of ten minutes to complete the game, with the time being divided between the five questions. If you answer quickly, there will be more time for the more difficult questions.

Rules of the game

  • In the buzzer round, the player who presses the button the fastest answers first.

  • If the answer is wrong, the next fastest player gets a chance.

  • In the main game, the candidate has a total of 10 minutes to answer five questions.

  • Points are awarded for each correct answer, with the maximum possible score being 3,000 points.

  • Incorrect answers shorten the time: first by 15 seconds, then by 30, 45 and finally by 60 seconds.

  • When the time is up, the participant can continue playing but can no longer collect personal points — however, the donation for the good cause continues to grow!

  • The contestant can use two lifelines:

    • Audience Help: The audience can assist in selecting the correct answer.

    • Double-Dip: The contestant can give an answer. If it is wrong, they get a second chance to answer. However, when deciding on the second answer, the time runs twice as fast.

Scoring and donations

Points are awarded for each correct answer. Contestants can redeem their points at the buffet or with selected vendors, while the host donates a corresponding amount to the collection box for charity.

This game is a unique opportunity to test your knowledge, have fun and support a good cause at the same time.
