We are looking for committed and reliable volunteers who are enthusiastic about helping to organise the event. We believe this is not just a job, but an opportunity to build and strengthen the Furry subculture and give back to the community from which we have received so much.

Convention Operations
Their duties include securing the venue, setting up, coordinating, managing admission and the programme, and solving various problems that arise during the event. Overall, conops ensures that the event runs smoothly and seamlessly.
Fursuiter Support Department
This department ensures that the fursuiters feel comfortable at the event and receive all the support necessary to create a real convention atmosphere for the visitors.
Lounge Operations
The staff ensure that the lounge can fulfil its purpose. They replenish used supplies, monitor the equipment and keep the lounge tidy and clean.
Handler Team
They assist fursuiters have a good time at the event. They often patrol the venue to help fursuiters navigate, solve problems and make sure water is always available for them.
In addition to these tasks, they perform similar duties backstage and during the Fursuit Walk.
Logistics Department
This department contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the event and ensures that all the necessary requirements for the successful execution of the event are met.
Transport Team
The transporters are responsible for ensuring that all the necessary equipment arrives at or leaves the venue safely and on time. Their tasks include the transport of larger items such as technical equipment, furniture or decorations as well as the procurement and transport of food, drinks and other supplies.
If you have your own car and can drive, we'd love to have you on the team, but remember, we need more than just drivers! All help is needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Preparatory Staff
This team is responsible for carrying out the necessary preparations before, during and after the event. Their tasks include setting up and dismantling equipment and furniture, setting up and dismantling the infrastructure and general room organisation.
This includes setting up and moving chairs, tables, decorations, signs, counters and other items.
Panel support
Panel support staff ensure the smooth running of the programmes at the event. They prepare and equip the panel room, support the panel organisers and moderators and ensure that participants can actively take part in the programmes.
Other ConOps tasks
This section contains positions that form an independent unit within the event and cannot be divided into subgroups.
Front Desk
The Front Desk team is the main information point of the convention, welcoming attendees at the beginning of the event, answering their questions and providing assistance.
Its tasks also include coordinating admission and passing on general information about the event to participants.
Support Team
They're the invisible force that makes the design and development of the event possible. The Support Team is an important part of the success of the event and their contribution is essential to the smooth running of the event.
Technical team
The technical team is responsible for the technical and professional aspects of the event. They design and implement equipment and furniture and continuously improve the technical level of the event.
Art team
The art team is responsible for the atmosphere and appearance of the event. It takes care of the graphic appearance of the event, such as the design of posters, brochures and digital content.
Organiser assistant
The organiser's assistants help with event management and ensure that all organisational tasks run smoothly so that the event can be held successfully.
Their tasks include coordinating the preparations for the event, agreeing dates and offers and maintaining contact with volunteers and partners.
Occasional support and cooperation
Whether it's creative ideas, specialised expertise or just general enthusiasm and willingness to help, we're always open to new ideas and collaboration.

Do I need a qualification or a degree?
Many tasks can be done without qualifications, although there may be requirements for some. For example, if you want to work with electronics or electricity or drive a car.

Am I being paid?
Furdance Budapest is a volunteer-run civic association that operates as a non-profit organisation by nature. The volunteers, including the organisers, strive to promote and support the development and cultivation of the furry subculture as well as to express their gratitude for everything they have received from the community as its members.
Of course, we endeavour to give all due recognition and support and find ways to express our gratitude for your contribution.
Can I take part in the programmes if I'm a volunteer?
We make every effort to ensure that everyone can participate in the programmes that interest them. Please let us know if you have any preferences when you register.
It's important to note that there may be exceptions. For example, if you were involved in putting together the quiz questions, you'll not be able to take part in this programme.
Do I have to register for the event as both a volunteer and a attendee?
If you can only fulfil your assigned tasks on site, you must register as a participant.
